On March 28th, 2014, i experienced my first particularly memorable spiritual experience when i woke from a deep sleep at the exact moment my grandmother passed. Over the years, i’ve experienced various other similar occurrences and events in which it felt as though someone was trying to communicate with me, but due to my own uncertainty and fear in sharing these, my life remained largely unchanged until an upending case of burnout in my career in 2022.
During what could only be described as a spiritual awakening throughout 2023 and 2024, I discovered my ability to communicate with spirits on the other side and share their messages. I kept this largely to myself for months, only sharing with my closest family and friends. eventually I found a home in a mediumship mentorship group where I connected with a kind and compassionate mentor and several new friends with abilities like mine. I consider this to be a major turning point in my journey, one where it was safe to share, practice, and get feedback…and gain confidence to share these gifts with a wider audience.
A Professional Code Of Ethics
A code for psychics, healers, shamans, teachers, and mediums. Written by Amanda Linette Meder and adapted from professional conduct codes presented by the World Medical Association and the American Psychological Association.
I proudly honor the code of ethical principles as set forth and outlined below on behalf of all clients and professionals I work with:
18 and older. Personal readings or consultations and paid materials are available to those above the legal age without parental consent. This is for both legal and safety reasons and to honor and respect parental boundaries.
Keep Confidential. A client's trust is highly valued and everything shared within the client-practitioner sphere is kept strictly confidential. It is ethical to disclose confidential information only when the client consents to it or when there is a real and imminent threat of harm to the client or to others, and this threat can be only diffused by a breach of confidentiality.
Respect Rights. I respect the rights and preferences of my clients and spiritual colleagues. I agree to respect a person's right to refuse or accept help on their own terms and will never force a reading, a message, my opinions, or my lifestyle on those who choose to withhold.
Do No Harm. I understand that abilities have been gifted to me by Spirit to use only in serving the highest and greatest good of all involved. I also understand that should my gifts be used in ill will, they will be relinquished. I understand that my gifts are solely intended for healing, helping and supporting others and I strive to always use my resources appropriately, in the best way possible, and only in the benefit of my community.
Withhold Judgment. I agree to only provide spiritual services when I can do so as an unbiased and clear vessel. I will not allow my own judgment to be influenced by personal profit, discrimination, or my own emotions. All races, ethnicities, cultures, countries of origin, religions, beliefs, sexes, gender identities, sexual orientations, abilities and disabilities, everyone…all are welcome here.
Colleagues. A spiritual professional never undermines other colleagues in order to attract her own clients and only behaves towards colleagues as she would wish them to behave towards her. When necessary, she communicates with colleagues who are involved in the care of the same individual and this communication respects confidentiality, where only the necessary information is conveyed.
Providing Services. I only provide those services that I believe will truly help the client or colleague at their highest level. When examination of an issue is beyond my capacity, I will refer to a network of trusted professionals.
